This email just touched Dominic’s heart. A young man read his book, “No Momma’s Boy,” and decided to follow in Dominic’s footsteps and attend the same college Dominic did.
I wanted to let you know that Jordan has finally decided to attend SUNY Cortland. It has been a tough choice but Howard University was not very accommodating with regard to providing a scholarship that would allow Jordan to attend. Secondly, after meeting Mr. Dominic Carter and reading his book and knowing that he attended SUNY Cortland, Jordan felt he, too, would do great things as a Red Dragon.

The college kids were “refreshing and they provided me with tremendous hope,” is how Dominic describes his appearance last week at Hudson County Community College in Jersey City, New Jersey.
