NY1’s former political anchor Dominic Carter asks Trump about Hillary, and the businessman sings her praises. “I’d like to answer that question in another 15 years from now,” he said. “I think she’s going to go down, at a minimum, as a great senator. I think she is a great wife to a president.” Trump goes on to applaud Bill Clinton for keeping the country out of war and the economy booming during his presidency. Carter then asks Trump about his thoughts on her loss in the 2008 election and he shows sympathy and respect for her.
“I thought they roughed her up pretty good,” he said. “I think she’s a wonderful woman. I think she’s a little misunderstood. She’s a very smart woman. A tough woman. She’s also a very nice woman.”
